Explain briefly giving reasons, whether the installation meets the requirements of BS7671. There are four circuit at 100M ohm which is the equivalent of one at 25M ohm.
Product / Sum of 25 and 50 is 1250 / 75 = 16.667
Product / Sum of 16.667 and 2.2 is 36.667 / 18.867 = 1.94 M ohms
The installation does comply BS 7671 as all circuits are individually above 1M ohm. The value of 2.2M is much lower than what would be expected and could indicate a latent fault requiring further investigation and should be recorded as such. q683
