Description

Part P 2393 Exam Simulator Features

The aim of Part P is to enable electricians and others working in the building trade to understand how electrical installations in dwellings can affect building construction and how electrical installations must comply with all relevant Building Regulations. This Part P Exam Simulator has been updated with the 2013 and 2015 changes in Part P to give candidates the best opportunity and practice to prepare for the City & Guilds 2393-10 Part P Exam. The Part P Exam Simulator includes questions for candidates to practice their understanding of electrical installation as they relate to the Building Regulations for England and Wales (it does not include practice for Scotland).

It includes questions not only on the requirements for electrical installations (Part P) but also for other parts of the Building Regulations (Parts A, B ,C, E, F ,L and M) that persons carrying out electrical installations are expected to understand and comply with.

In 2013 and 2015 the Part P Regulations were changed. The Electacourse Part P Exam Simulator has been updated to reflect these changes. The changes incorporated in this new edition are designed to:

  • reduce the range of electrical installation work that is notifiable.
  • allow installers who are not a registered electricians to certify work as an alternative to using building control.
  • change the technical guidance throughout so it now refers to BS7671:2008 incorporating Amendment No 3:2015

The Part P 2393 is an open book exam and has two permitted texts. The Electricians Guide to the Building Regulations and NICEIC – Electrical Installers’ Guide to the Building Regulations: v. 1: For Dwellings and Associated Areas in England and Wales

  • If you are using Electacourse material for more than five students in one year, it is much more beneficial for a large company, FE College or Training Provider to purchase an Educational Licence. You can benefit from discounts up to and in excess of 70%.

Use this form to tell us about which Electacourse content you are interested in and how many students you want to have use the content. We will get back to you with a quote.

The Electacourse Educational Licence is for 'seats'. The core license is based on the 3 terms of the academic year. This is best explained by example: if you have 30 students in a year but each student is with you for only one of three terms, you will need a licence for 10 seats. Once the student who has been using the licensed content in the first term has finished their course or left, cancel their access and then register a new student for the licensed content.

The number of seats should match the maximum number of people you need to access the course or practice material in the same period.

The licence needs to be renewed after 12 months for continued access. Enhanced licenses offer a decreased per head cost based on multiples of the 3X basic licence.

  • Enter the number of seats for each product. Licence period is one year

  • Maths for electricians

  • 17th Edition

  • Inspection and Testing

  • Other Subjects

    Online practice for 2365-501, 202, 203 and 210

  • For a college teaching the same material each term to different groups of students, the cycle would be 3. For a training company offering a course each month to a new group of students, the cycle would be 12.
  • If there are other Electacourse products you would like us to quote you for, please use this field to tell us which products and how many students.
Would you like us to quote for setting up your Electacourse Educational Licence in a website branded with your name, logo and with your own internet address? If not, the students will access the material on our Learn4Skills.Online website.
