IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT 18TH EDITION AMENDMENT 2
On March 28th 2022 IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 18th Edition was updated to Amendment 2.
City & Guilds are the leading examination body for the 18th Edition qualification. For the period from 28/3/2022 to 27/9/2022 City & Guilds are offering two 18th Edition exams. They are known by the codes: 2382-18 and 2382 A2:2022. Success in either of these exams results in the candidates being 18th Edition qualified.
C&G 2382-18 tests candidates on IET Wiring Regulations BS7671-2018. This edition of the Wiring Regulations is published in the Blue Book and is up to date to Amendment 1. This exam will continue to be available until 27th September 2022.
C&G 2382 A2:2022 tests candidates on IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 A2:2022. This edition of the Wiring Regulations is published in the Brown Book and is up to date to Amendment 2
Note: unlike what happened during 17th Edition, C&G are not offering a qualification for just the Amendment 2 update. The Amendment 2 exam (2382 A2:2022) is a test of all the regulations in BS7671 A2:2022 (Brown book).
Study strategies for candidates who are planning to take the 2382 A2:2022 exam:

- You need to have been regularly achieving more than 80% in the 2382-22 Practice Test at the end of the 18th Edition A2:2022 Update Course
Study strategies for candidates who are planning to take the 2382-18 exam:
- You need to have the Blue book

Audiostream content
We have worked with Amazon and use their text-to-voice technology to enable you to listen to much of the learning material. Although the voice is clearly not human, it enables you to listen while driving and improves the quality of the course.
We will not be including the audiostream on every lesson and topic. Many of the topics are too densely populated with regulation numbers, they sound nonsensical if spoken.
