Electacourse response to Covid-19 outbreak

The Covid-19 outbreak is a fast-paced and fluid situation and is affecting our customers, partners and employees in the UK and worldwide.

We have put into place measures to support our employees and broader customers and stakeholders.

Business continuity

The majority our activities are online and as a team of educators, administrators and technical experts we have long established methods of working together remotely. We are of course reliant on the technical delivery services supplied by internet infrastructure organisations such as Amazon Web Services, ICAAN, Stripe etc. All our delivery partners have robust Covid-19 mitigation strategies in place to ensure continuity of service.

Frontline services

We are committed to our purpose of helping people and organisations to develop their skills for growth and now more than ever, we feel this is a vital role we can play. We expect that our key online operations and frontline services remain available and will continue to be able to serve our customers and communities through maintaining our long established online delivery of training and exam preparation.

All Electacourse online courses and study material remain open and available to access for our customers through this period.

Some of our customers have purchased City & Guilds examinations as part of their online course of study. We rely on our exam centre partners to provide our customers with the City & Guilds exam. At present it remains a requirement of City & Guilds that the exam centre accurately identifies the exam candidate in person prior to them having access to the exam. This requires the exam candidate to attend the examination centre.

You can continue to book exams with us at our permanent centres listed elsewhere on this page.

We will of course maintain and if necessary, extend your access to the 18th Edition Online Course throughout this period of CoronaVirus crisis.
